Privacy Policy

Michael Monsour (ABN 30 847 056 105), trading as XMMX (“we”, “us”, “our”), is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what personal information we collect through xmmx.app, how we use it, and your rights.

What we collect

Analytics and performance data

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand site usage and performance. Both tools are cookieless and do not collect personally identifiable information. Vercel Analytics records aggregated data such as page URL, referrer, country, device type, and browser. Speed Insights records Web Vitals metrics (LCP, CLS, TTFB, FCP) alongside page URL and device type. No data is tied to an individual visitor.

Contact enquiries

The contact form on this site does not transmit data to our servers. When you submit the form, your name, email address, and message are composed in your browser and handed to your own email client via a mailto: link. We receive your enquiry as a regular email at hello@xmmx.app. We use that information solely to respond to you and manage any resulting engagement.

Server request logs

As with any website, your IP address is processed by Vercel’s hosting infrastructure when you load pages. Vercel may retain server logs for security and operational purposes in accordance with their own privacy policy.

How we use your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Overseas recipients

This website is hosted and analytics are processed by Vercel Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, California, USA. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Vercel operates infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle information consistently with the APPs, but Australian privacy law may not apply in those jurisdictions (APP 8).

Data retention

We retain email enquiries for as long as necessary to manage the business relationship — typically no longer than three years after last contact. Vercel’s retention of analytics and server data is governed by their privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) you have the right to:

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@xmmx.app. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at hello@xmmx.app so we can try to resolve the matter. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
